The J&H Realty Group is led by Matt Sugg, an award-winning real estate expert with over 15 years of experience. Matt began his career at PRG Real Estate in Richmond, Virginia in 2007, and held several different roles including Leasing Specialist, Marketing Manager, Senior Property Manager, and Regional Trainer. In 2014, Matt transitioned to become a Portfolio Manager with a start-up real estate company in Virginia Beach. He later joined Greystar as a Regional Director, where he focused primarily on new construction lease-ups and business development throughout the Hampton Roads and Central Virginia markets. Matt rejoined PRG Real Estate in 2018 to lead operations for all new developments and acquisitions in Richmond, Virginia. Throughout his career, he managed over 10,000 units valued in excess of $2 billion. In 2021, Matt created J&H Capital, Richmond’s Premier Real Estate Consulting and Recruiting firm, and due to their continued success he later formed the J&H Realty Group in 2022.
Matt received his B.S in Marketing Management from Virginia Tech. He’s earned the following designations: CAM, CAPS, CPM, and the Virginia Realtor’s License. He held several leadership positions within the local and state real estate associations, including CVAA, VAMA, IREM, and the Urban Land Institute. He is also an active member of the Richmond Association of Realtors.
Matt is well known for building lasting relationships with his customers, using a more personalized and genuine style of communication. With his extensive background in high profile negotiations in the real estate industry, he's always ensuring the seller' and buyers' best interests are his number one priority. When Matt isn’t helping his clients buy and sell real estate, you can find him going on adventures with his two boys, Holden and Jack, traveling the world, playing soccer and golf, and trying out new restaurants.
